CACS Biennial Conference

Media@McGill is co-sponsoring the biennial conference of The Canadian Association of Cultural Studies (CACS), which will be hosted at Thomson House at McGill University's Downtown Campus between Friday, November 4 and Sunday, November 6, 2011.

Keynote addresses and plenary panels are free and open to the public.

Professor Ferguson's keynote address will be presented in conjunction with the McGill Institute for the Study of Gender, Sexuality and Feminism conference on The Body: New Paradigms, Perspectives, and Practices, taking place on Thursday, November 3rd, at Thomson House.

Cultural Study This! is a cabaret organized by TL Cowan, Jasmine Rault, and writer and performance artist, Dayna Mcleod, who is also the host and curator of the event. The cabaret will be followed by an after-show with DJ Owen Chapman.
