Accommodations
All student accommodations and supplemental academic supports are based on your specific barriers. The supports available are not determined solely by your diagnosis or documentation but are discussed as part of a conversation with your Access Services Advisor. Some accommodations and supports that students receive to reduce the barriers they experience in the academic environment are:
- Exam accommodations;
- Note Sharing;
- Learner support;
- Assistive technology;
- Alternate text formatting;
- Peer-to-peer supports.
Need to talk about or change your accommodation plan?
Students are required to review their academic accommodations at the beginning of each semester using the Review and Confirm My Accommodations module in ClockWork. Through this process, students can also request a change to their academic accommodation plan. If your barriers have changed and you have already completed this module for the semester, we encourage you to book an appointment to discuss this with your advisor and update your accommodation plan if needed.
