Bookmark your McGill home page

Instead of one home page that tries to be all things to all people, McGill now has three, each with customized content for different audiences. You can access the new home pages by clicking the links at the top of the external page (http://www.mcgill.ca/).

If you'd like easier access to the Student or Faculty/Staff home pages, you can save time by:

  1. Bookmarking the home page that's customized for your needs; and
  2. Setting that page to display every time you load your browser.

If you're not sure how to do these things, follow the instructions below.  They deal specifically with the Student home page, but the exact same processes apply for the Faculty/Staff home page – the only difference is that instead of using www.mcgill.ca/students as your address, you'd use www.mcgill.ca/staff.

If you still have questions, don't hesitate to e-mail McGill itsupport [at] mcgill [dot] ca (subject: Help%20with%20bookmarking%20the%20McGill%20home%20page) (IT Support) for help.
