Take the Stairway to Health
The Stairway to Health program was created in the same spirit as the Staff Fitness Program; to promote fitness and healthy living at McGill. The pilot phase of the project began in January, 2006 in the James Administration Building.
How Does it Work?
It’s simple. Opt for the stairs instead of the elevator. This heart-healthy activity can improve your fitness level, weight, health, work relationships, and attitude. Check out all the benefits that stair climbing offers!
What Can I Do?
- Start by taking one flight up or two down and then slowly build on your accomplishments until using the stairs becomes a habit.
