McGill welcomes applications to the Urban Design and Housing option from mature, talented, critical, and intellectually assertive individuals holding professional degrees in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Design, and/or Urban Planning. In all cases our expectation is that the applicant has completed previous studies in a studio-based design program. Some experience in professional practice (two years or more) is also a desirable asset.

The application deadline for our Urban Design options is 15 January of each year. Applicants to the Urban Design and Housing option are expected to meet the general requirements of the program to which they are applying as outlined here.
