The best way to discover McGill is to visit! The Welcome Centre, located on McTavish Street (corner Sherbrooke Street West), is the natural first stop for any student, parent or guidance counsellor planning to visit McGill's downtown campus.
The centre arranges walking tours and the opportunity to attend a class. It also offers admissions information and a whole lot more to ensure that prospective students and their parents have a solid understanding of the University and its surroundings. To arrange a visit, please register on McGill in Mind.
Note: Athletic facilities are NOT visited during the tour because of time constraints; however, tour takers are encouraged to visit them on their own either before or after the regular campus tour on weekdays. No reservations are required to visit Athletics.
McGill's Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences is located on the Macdonald Campus on the western tip of the Island of Montreal, about a half-hour drive from downtown. To arrange a visit, please register on McGill in Mind or contact the Student Affairs Office.
