McGill’s Translation Services is a unit of Communications and External Relations and works primarily for CER. However, the unit does provide some support to other McGill units, including consultation on some translation requests and referrals to external translation providers. Translation Services does not translate personal documents for members of the McGill community and does not handle translation requests from members of the external community.
Coordinates of general or specialized translators can be found on the website of the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ).
Members of the McGill community can also browse through the ‘Official McGill Terminology’ section (menu on the left), where they will find bilingual lexicons and official titles most often used at the University.
