TA Discussion Group

T-PULSE owl

Have questions or issues with your job as a TA? It's often the case that the best person to help you out when you've got questions is a peer, someone who's already been there. To that end, we invite you to participate in one of our Discussion Groups on Teaching and Learning.

The goals of the discussion groups are to address teaching issues that come up as the semester progresses, share tips and strategies for effective teaching, and to form collaborative teaching relationships with your fellow TAs. Each group is moderated by a T-PULSE Science Graduate Teaching Fellow.

What should you expect? A typical session will be about 60-90 minutes long; stay for as long as you'd like. The discussions are informal and setting is relaxed. Feel free to come with your lunch or a pint in hand, and we'll provide some snacks.

Next session: TBD
