Course Evaluation Results available to McGill Community
Instructions on how to view course evaluation results
The course ratings reported on the site are only one indicator of teaching effectiveness, and these results should be treated with caution since they represent reports only for the particular courses and terms designated.
End-of-course evaluations results, as one indicator of teaching effectiveness, are used to:
- Help instructors improve future offerings of courses.
- Inform students about courses and instructors.
- Written comments are treated as confidential and are not made available to the McGill community.
Numerical results of course evaluations are accessible by McGill students and academic staff for courses where the following two conditions are met: the instructor has granted permission to disseminate the results and the response rate criteria below have been met:

- Search for results by instructor or subject and course.
Faculty Access:
- View course evaluation results
- Search for results by instructor or subject and course.
Staff Access (Authorized Admins, Mercury Liaisons):
- Log in to Minerva.
- Select the SR Admin tab.
- Scroll down and click on “Mercury Online Course Evaluation Menu”.
- Select “Mercury - for the McGill Community”.
- Search for results either by instructor or subject and course.
