Course Evaluation Results available to McGill Community

The course ratings reported on the site are only one indicator of teaching effectiveness, and these results should be treated with caution since they represent reports only for the particular courses and terms designated.

End-of-course evaluations may be used, as one indicator of teaching effectiveness,

a. to help instructors improve the future delivery of courses;
b. to inform students about courses and instructors;
c. as a component of the teaching dossier; and
d. to help administrators and faculty committees in their decision-making processes.

Numerical results of course evaluations are accessible by McGill students and academic staff for courses where the following two conditions are met: the instructor has not objected to access and the response rate criteria below have been met.
