Impact to Date

Data are being collected as part of an underlying research project to examine the impact of the project on student engagement and to assess the effectiveness of the implementation on quality of the learning experience.

Five types of data are being collected:

  1. In-class observations
  2. In-class end of term student assessments
  3. On-line student assessments
  4. In-depth faculty interviews
  5. Student focus groups

Faculty Breakdown 2010-2011

The impact to date for the Fall 10 and Winter 11 term is: over 9,500 unique students using clickers, 97 unique instructors and 146 courses across the university with the following breakdown:
