myCourses Upgrade on May 29: New, Consistent Look and Feel

On May 29, myCourses, McGill’s learning management system, will be upgraded to be responsive for a consistent user experience across computers, tablets, and mobile devices.

Below are screenshots of the new look and feel from a computer and mobile device for both the instructor and student views.

The changes are primarily cosmetic and will not impact functionality. This includes:

  • A new, simplified experience that will be more consistent across all types of devices;

  • A customizable course image—instructors can choose from a bank or upload their own.

Please note that there will be no downtime associated with this upgrade.

McGill University is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. McGill honours, recognizes and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we meet today.
