Teaching and Learning Services

Teaching and Learning Services (TLS) promotes and supports the ongoing development and enhancement of teaching and learning at McGill University. Our team collaborates with professors, departments, faculties and fellow teaching support units to create adaptable and innovative learning environments in which outstanding teaching is recognized and rewarded.

Professor Cynthia Weston, who has earned global recognition for her contribution to the field of faculty development and the enhancement of teaching, was appointed as inaugural Director of the Teaching and Learning Services unit in 2005. Under her distinguished leadership, we continue to support the University in realizing its ongoing commitment to excellence in student-centered teaching and learning.
