The Division is involved in a number of international collaborative projects in research and training.
FPR-UCLA-McGill Program in Cultural Psychiatry
- The FPR-UCLA-McGill Program in Cultural Psychiatry brings together a highly interdisciplinary group of researchers with expertise in cultural psychiatry, medical and psychological anthropology, social, cultural and clinical psychology, and cognitive social neuroscience.
Trauma and Global Health Program
- Trauma and Global Health Program is a partnership between McGill University and research teams from four low and middle-income countries: Guatemala, Nepal, Peru, and Sri Lanka.
WHO Collaborating Centre
- Much of the international research conducted by Division members is affiliated with the WHO Collaborating Centre at the Douglas Hospital.
Latin American-Caribbean Mental Health Services Research Network
- The Division collaborates in the Latin American-Caribbean Mental Health Services Research Network of the Pan - American Health Organization and organized an intensive workshop in cultural psychiatric research for the Network meeting in Sao Paulo, October 2004.
Transkulturelt Centrum, Stockholm
- The Division collaborates in an annual course in cultural psychiatry organized by the Transcultural Centre of Stockholm County, Sweden.

International Consortium for Cultural Consultation
- The International Consortium for Cultural Consultation is a network of international colleagues specializing in research and clinical training in the field of health and psychiatric consultation for patients from ethnoculturally diverse groups.
