2nd Annual Trainee Research Day

We will be holding our second research day on June 18, 2014 from 12:30 pm to 6 pm at McGill's Thomson House. The focus will be on Tuberculosis and other mycobacterial research and is for the students and post-doctoral fellows of all members (Full and Associate). Prizes will be awarded. It will be a great opportunity to meet and mingle.

We're thrilled to announce our keynote speaker, Dr. Peter Small, Deputy Director, TB, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, who will give a presentation on "Modernizing DOTS".

We will be holding our first research day on June 19, 2013 from 12:30 pm to 5 pm. All trainees who submit abstracts will receive a giftPrizes will be awarded for poster and oral presentations.  The focus will be on Tuberculosis and other mycobacterial research and is for the students and post-doctoral fellows of all members (Full and Associate).

This is an important event which highlights the vital contributions of the students and post-doctoral fellows in the Centre. It is an opportunity to meet, mingle, share great research and enjoy some cocktails. There will be a keynote presentation from Dr. Philippe Gros, Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Vice-Dean, Life Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, McGill University and a presentation on Social Network Analysis by Drs. Marcel Behr and Kevin Schwartzman.

Students and post-doctoral fellows wishing to present at this event are invited to submit their abstracts, using the attached submission form.  Please note that applications must be submitted no later than Monday, June 3 at 1 PM.

Everyone is welcome, including investigators, administrators, assistants, staff and students. Attendance is free, but we need to know if you are coming so we can order enough food and wine.
