SP0050: Sustainability Fair

Status: COMPLETED Summer 2011

The McGill Sustainability Fair provided an opportunity for members of the community to find out about what's happening on campus and how they could get involved. This was an idea that arose from discussions the Make It Happen event earlier in the spring, and a multistakeholder group helped put it together.

McGill's tenth annual Rethink conference took place in the morning. This traditionally aims to provide the community with information on environmental initiatives on campus by students and the administration, as well as an opportunity to provide suggestions on priority environmental projects to be addressed.

In accordance with McGill’s environmental policy, the Conference serves to increase the University community's awareness of environmental issues, by fostering the appropriate values, knowledge, and skills to enable us to work towards the restoration and preservation of the Environment.
