Recycling on campus

McGill has an extensive recycling program on both its campuses which distinguishes waste by three streams. Check what is recyclable at McGill before you discard your waste to avoid contamination!

Need help? Collection of domestic recyclables is managed by McGill Building Services (local: Downtown 4560 and Mac 7828).

Other items destined for recycling which cannot be accepted our recycling bins such as batteries, cell phones, appliances, and metals are handled by the Waste Management Program (local 5066).
