Scholarships available for new one-credit course taken in collaboration with l’École d’été

This August 13th - 16th, McGill University’s School of Continuing Studies (SCS) will be hosting L’École d’été, a yearly event organized by l’Institut de Nouveau Monde. L’École d’été will bring together 500+ youth to engage with civil society leaders on a variety of issues related to social engagement in Quebec.

At this year’s edition, SCS will be offering a new course, CPAC101 : Sujet spécial en citoyenneté et engagement social. This one-credit course (provided in French only for this summer) will offer students a chance to participate in the activities of l’École d’été, with the goal of bringing these activities into an academic framework that will include: readings, intensive face-to-face meetings and assignments. It will also provide a unique opportunity to McGill students who are interested in connecting to various Quebec community engagement representatives as part of their studies.

The fee for participation in l’École d’été is $95.00 and the fee for taking part in the one - credit course is an additional $100.00, for a total course fee for CPAC 101 course of $195.00 (for Canadian Citizens).

The School of Continuing Studies (SCS) has received funding through donor contributions to support students with their tuition expense for CPAC 101. We are pleased to offer the scholarships to McGill University students who are registering in the above mentioned course.
