International Students
International Students may refer to McGill's International Student Services (ISS) office for helpful information regarding immigration regulations and services available. ISS also administers the University's Health Insurance Plan for International Students. International Students must ensure that they have adequate hospitalization and medical coverage during their stay at McGill. You may enroll in the University's International Student Health Plan for the summer term for which you are registered. As the University and Immigration Québec require International Students to have a copy on file of proof of health insurance for every International Student, it is important that you pick-up your health insurance card upon your arrival at McGill.
If you would like more information, please view the ISS website

Students are responsible for all courses in which they are registered unless they formally drop these courses on-line using Minerva before the deadline date. It is not sufficient to notify the instructor or cease to attend lectures (see section on Course Drop & Withdrawal for more information).
Registration restrictions for certain courses are listed in the Calendar; note them before attempting to use Minerva. All changes such as adding, dropping or withdrawing should also be done on Minerva. It is also important, in such cases, to verify the status of your fee balance.
If you have any problems using Minerva, please refer to the F.A.Q.’s (Frequently Asked Questions) and instructions at the Minerva for Students website or submit your questions using the Comments Form, which you will also find on the website. If you are still having problems using Minerva, you can contact the Minerva Help Line at (514) 398-7878.
Legal Documents
If you have not already done so, it is critical for you to review the information posted on the Legal Documents website concerning what legal documents you are required to submit. A consequence of not providing correct and complete documentation is that access to your record may be blocked and no requests for official transcripts will be processed.
