Québec Inter-University Transfer Students
WHO? Students who are currently registered at a Quebec university and wish to transfer credits granted by McGill during the summer to that university.
Those studying at other Québec universities who wish to take a course through the Inter-University Transfer Agreement should follow the steps below:
- Students must complete the Inter-University Transfer (IUT) form available online at www.crepuq.qc.ca, click on the indicated link and enter their application information.
- After the online Inter-University Transfer form is approved by both the home and host universities, the student is responsible for registering him/herself for the approved course(s) on Minerva. The online IUT form is only an approval process, therefore it does not register the student in the course once approval has been granted.
- Go to "Steps to Register" and follow instructions on how to register. It is recommended that you view your class schedule (Step 4 to see your schedule by course section or step 5 to view a weekly one on Minerva) to ensure you are registered correctly.
NOTE: The student is responsible for all courses in which they are registered unless they formally drop these courses on-line using Minerva before the deadline date. It is not sufficient to notify the instructor or cease to attend lectures (see section on Course Drop and Withdrawal for more information).
