ECSE 443 Introduction to Numerical Methods in Electrical Engineering (3 credits)

Number representation and numerical error; curve fitting and interpolation; numerical differentiation and integration; solutions of systems of linear equations and nonlinear equations; solutions of ordinary and partial differential equations; optimization. Applications in electrical engineering analysis and design. Evaluation of numerical software packages.
