Programs, Courses and University Regulations

Registration period for all students entering the U3/U4 year of their programs. This excludes students in Law, most students in Continuing Studies, and all courses offered by the Desautels Faculty of Management.  Registration is phased in throughout the morning hours as follows:

Registration period (with credit limit raised to 16) for Fall 2013 and Winter 2014 for all returning students in the Faculty of Law.

• On June 6, registration will open at 08:00 to all years with a credit limit of 16.
• On August 30, registration will open at 08:00 for all years with a credit limit of 18 {fall AND WINTER}.

IMPORTANT: Returning students who fail to register in at least one course by Wednesday, August 14, 2013 may continue to register after this date and until the end of the registration period,

Registration period for Fall 2013 and Winter 2014 using Minerva for all newly-admitted undergraduate students in the faculties listed below, whose highest level of education prior to registering at McGill is a French Baccalaureate, International Baccalaureate or at least one year of university, or who have other academic qualifications such as Advanced Levels, Advanced Placements or CAPE which provides for advanced standing credit. Students in this category must have a classification of year 1 (U1) or higher.

Registration period for Fall 2013 and Winter 2014 for Exchange students in all faculties except Faculty of Law and Continuing Studies.

Registration period for Fall 2013 and Winter 2014 undergraduate Management courses for all returning students (excludes students in Law, Dentistry, Medicine, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Continuing Studies.

Note: Some courses remain restricted to undergraduate Management students.
