Taxi
From the airpiort:
Trudeau International Airport is approximately 20 km (12 miles) from the conference venue. A taxi or limousine will take you directly to the InterContinental Montréal, while a shuttle service will take you to the train station only minutes away. A taxi from the airport takes about 20 minutes and costs about $38; the length of time and cost may vary slightly depending on traffic.
From the train station:
The Central Station/Gare Centrale is located in the heart of downtown Montreal. A taxi stand is clearly marked, and is just outside the central doors in the station. The trip to the InterContinental Montréal will be less than 5 minutes and should cost no more than $10.

747 Express Bus
The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) runs an express bus line ("747") between the airport and downtown. The 747 line uses only low-floor buses and is in service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The trip between Montréal-Trudeau Airport and the Montréal bus terminal at Berri-UQAM metro station takes approximately 35 minutes outside of rush hour.  The $8 fare is payable in cash aboard the bus - coins only, bills are not accepted. It also provides travelers with a transit pass valid on the STM bus and metro network for the next 24 hours! The closest stop to the Centre is the René-Lévesque/Union stop (as seen on Planibus 747).
