As a McGill student, both you can access McGill's Student Health Clinic for urgent attention, check-ups, follow-ups and long-term care. Spouses and children must use other Montreal health services.

SSMU Health and Dental Plan
All undergraduate students who are members of the Students’ Society of McGill University (SSMU) and who are paying tuition fees at either the Canadian or Quebec rates are automatically enrolled in the SSMU Health and Dental Plan. You can add dependants (spouses and children) to your plan for an additional fee. Visit SSMU's website to learn more, or go to www.ihaveaplan.ca to enroll your family.
PGSS Health and Dental Plan
All Canadian graduate students enrolled at McGill are eligible for the Post-Graduate Student Society (PGSS) Health and Dental Plan, and can add their spouses/children for an additional cost. Visit the PGSS site to learn more, or to print the enrollment form.
McGill requires all international students and their accompanying dependants to participate in the McGill International Student Health Insurance Plan, administered by International Student Services.
