Students Going Abroad

What's New?

Attention all students travelling to France!

It is now mandatory (even for Canadian students) to apply for a long-stay visa at the Consulat Général de France au Québec. Students are invited to present themselves without prior appointment at the Consulate from Tuesday to Thursday between 2 pm and 4 pm. If absolutely necessary, they will also accept students on Mondays and Fridays, but it is better to avoid those days as they are much busier. The visa process is exactly the same, but you can no longer mail in documents. You must now present your documents in person at the Consulate.

Second Round!

Missed the boat to go on exchange? Now’s your second chance! From May 1 to June 5, submit your application to participate in the exchange program. For Winter 2018 exchanges only and for institutions where spaces remain. Details at: http://www.mcgill.ca/students/international/secondround

Prior to the trip, winners will be invited to an awards ceremony co-hosted by the Office of the Speakers of the House of Commons and the CAJ in Ottawa. Winners will also benefit from a one-year CAJ membership or one-year CAJ membership renewal.

The application deadline is May 8th, 2017.
