*6:30-9:30 p.m. Special Break-Out Session for students in the Faculty of Medicine doing an international clinical rotation or clinical elective outside of Canada and the USA (attendance mandatory)
Who must attend?
Students from all faculties traveling outside Canada for University-related bilateral exchanges, internships, independent study-away, field study semesters, research and/or other such activities during Summer or Fall 2013 who have not previously attended Pre-Departure Orientation. (The next Pre-Departure session will be held in the Fall 2013 semester.)

- Personal health abroad, including healthy travel tips;
- McGill University-Related Travel Guidelines;
- Managing your success abroad; and
- Minerva Travel Registry
Note for graduate students who are traveling outside Canada to attend an international conference or formally organized workshop:
You are not required to attend Pre-Departure Orientation but you are required to complete a Travel Registry form on Minerva.
