External exam proctors

General information

Upon request, McGill will act as proctor for written exams from other universities or professional accreditation associations. Exams are generally scheduled Mondays through Fridays at 10:00 a.m.

They can never be scheduled on: evenings, weekends, statutory holidays and McGill holidays.

We will not supervise online exams only paper-based ones.

Costs

Unless otherwise specified by the home institution, the student is expected to pay the invigilation and administration fees on the day of the exam. Acceptable forms of payments are: debit, Canadian money order or certified cheque.

Any student/institution wishing to have the exam returned by courier/express post must provide a prepaid envelope.

Please make arrangements with McGill and your institution at least two weeks before the required exam date and provide a telephone number where you can be reached during regular business hours.
