Service Improvement Associate / Training Coordinator

Shadow a Service Point Service Professional and Training Coordinator - answering phones and e-mails, interactions in person etc... 
Also, organizing and refreshing the training schedule for current employees and the onboarding program for new staff and work-study students. Projecting and planning for busy periods.

Student Exchange program

Shadow a Service Point Representative while they process applications, mobility awards, answer queries via email and/or drop-in.

Welcome Centre - Information Assistant

Greet the visitors arriving for tours; answer general campus wayfinding questions and specific program application requirements.

Open House Event Operations Assistant

Assist the organizing team during our Open House event on Sunday October 29, 2017. Assignments will include: training the student helpers and supervising them on OH day; working on web and social media enhancements in October, leading up to OH day; hosting the Cegep students who arrive by bus from Québec City & Gatineau (must be fluently bilingual). All three positions require presence during the full day on Sunday Oct 29, 2017.

Service Representative at Service Point

Shadow a Service Point Representative for the day, answering calls from prospective students, current students & alumni as well as responding to emails and in-person queries.

Director of Admissions

Shadow the Director of Admissions for a few days. Confidentiality required.

Project Manager (enhancement of an existing Product)

Work on a Short Term Project (Requiring no more than 14 hours of the participant's time). This opportunity allows for the involvement in a project to improve services, conduct research, or introduce new technologies. This opportunity could also include events such as sports games, Open House, Discover McGill, convocation, and others. A short term project may allow the participant to develop new skills or to contribute existing expertise to the project.

Service Point Greeter - school year start-up

Volunteers will greet students and parents during rez move-in weekend and throughout the first few days of the school year (August 28th to September 3rd).
