We can help you understand your dental insurance coverage with SSMU or PGSS. Hard to leave your family dentist? We can work closely with your dental office back home. If you haven't had time for cleanings when returning home or if you've had your cleaning done, but had some dental work to do that hasn't been completed before school started, we can assist your regular dentist and help you right here on campus.
Dental Cleanings and Checkups
When you call to book an appointment, we will listen to your needs. We usually book the first appointment for a check up and cleaning unless you have had one within the last 6 to 12 months. At this visit we can assess any problems you may be having in your mouth. However, if you have a specific problem, we can attend to that first.
You can come see us to find out if you have wisdom...teeth. You may already feel them growing in or may be having trouble with them. We can help if you are in pain and are having trouble concentrating, by checking for infections.
Do we make Nightguards? YES!
These are the appliances that are worn at night to keep you from grinding your teeth. If you are waking up in the morning with headaches or sore facial muscles come see us to check whether you are grinding and wearing down your teeth.
In many sports there is a risk of injury to your jaw and teeth. Protect yourself against fractures with a soft plastic mouthpiece. You can buy them at a pharmacy or have one custom made at the clinic. The custom made mouthguard fits more comfortably offering added protection.
