Mobility awards
The purpose of the Mobility Award is to encourage students to study abroad as part of their McGill degree program by defraying part of the cost of this experience. As of summer 2013 the two ways a student may receive funding for this award are the:

Mobility Financial Aid Supplement
Eligibility
The Mobility Financial Aid Supplement, administered by the Scholarships and Student Aid Office, is primarily for students who:
- are approved for an eligible study abroad activity.
- have applied and are receiving the maximum government aid for which they are eligible.
- demonstrate financial need according to SSAO conditions.
How to apply
Students can apply by going to Minerva > Financial Aid/Awards tab > Financial Aid Menu > Apply for McGill Financial Aid and submitting a Mobility Award application. There is no need to make an appointment for an interview with a Student Aid Counselor. Your application will be assessed online, so it is very important to clearly and accurately include all relevant information.
When to apply
Be prepared to submit your application within the open/close dates indicated below. Late applications will not be accepted (no exceptions!).
