Government Aid

One of the main sources of funding for students with financial need is government aid which can include loans, grants, and bursaries. The federal/provincial governments offer aid programs for students with assessed financial need. Students apply directly to their province or territory of residence. For more information, please visit the Directory of Government Aid Websites.

It can take 6-8 weeks for government aid applications to be processed. It is recommended that students apply by June 30th (June 1st for US students) in order to ensure that their aid arrives in time to pay their fees.

QUEBEC

Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and refugees or protected persons qualify for the Quebec Loans and Bursaries program if they are deemed a resident of Quebec for student aid purposes at the time of application.
