Tax Clinics for Students
It’s time to tackle your taxes and the Student Aid Office can help! Our Frugal Scholar Money Management Program is offering Tax Clinics designed especially for students filing Canada and Quebec tax returns. Frugal Scholar Tax Expert, Brenda Shanahan, will give you the inside scoop on student tax breaks to optimize your return and file at no cost!
The same clinic will be held on these dates:
Thursday March 18th, 4pm | Bronfman Bldg., Room 423
Friday March 28th, 1pm | Brown Student Services Bldg., Room 3001
Tuesday April 1st, 4pm | Bronfman Bldg., Room 046
Free, no registration required - how frugal is that!
Important news: 2013 student tax receipts are now available on Minerva!
As a student, you may have been the recipient of financial assistance during your studies. The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and/or Revenue Quebec can provide helpful income tax information (and videos!) specifically for students. For queries regarding your McGill tax slips and receipts please visit the Student Accounts website.
Reminder: our Frugal Scholar Money Management Program offers Income Tax workshops intermittently throughout the academic year. Check back here for updates!
