External Awards
There are many organizations and associations outside of McGill that offer scholarships and awards to students. For a list of external funding opportunities available by faculty/department click here. Other funding resources are listed below to help you with your research. Should you require additional information, please consult your faculty or department .
McGill Sources
The Office of the Dean of Students manages several prestigious and lucrative awards (i.e. Rhodes Scholarships, Forces Avenir, etc).
Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies provides information, guidelines, forms and deadlines regarding both external and internal fellowships and awards. They also provides information about undergraduate research awards.
Library and Collections provides a list of internal as well as external awards.
Law students can visit the Student Affairs Office in the Faculty of Law for information about financial support and competitions.
Engineering students can visit the Faculty's website on Engineering scholarships.
