The brilliant b-Shack developed by McGill School of Architecture students is an urban beehive that doubles as an educational facility. The project will bring urban beekeepers and volunteers together to help foster Montreal’s bee population by creating a pavilion that is surrounded by working hives.
Thanks to everyone that applied to the SSMU Sustainability Case Competition. We are very excited to get teams together to tackle this year’s case on sustainable investments.
At this time, there have been some changes to the format of the competition. Instead of the original 2-month competition, the SSCC will take place over one weekend – Friday, March 14th to Saturday March 15th, 2014.
McGill’s Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, Office of Sustainability, and the Post-Graduate Students Society, are proud to host the third annual Three Minutes to Change the World, a TED-talk style event featuring McGill graduate students giving three-minute presentations about their research initiatives and their impact on the community. Presentations are welcome in either English or French.
