The Brown Student Services Bldg. is open on all Summer Fridays.  Please contact the Brown Bldg. Reception Desk at 398-8238 for assistance with your questions.

Friday access to the Brown Building is by the McTavish Street entrance.  Student casuals, trained to greet and assist visitors, will be available at the main Reception Desk situated at this entrance.

A message from Ron Proulx, Associate Vice-Principal (University Services, Interim)

With Quebec in the grip of an extreme cold snap, Hydro-Québec has reported that the province broke a record for energy consumption Wednesday morning when the level hit 38,910 megawatts. The Hydro-Québec website says the utility is expecting to set another record for electricity consumption by this time tomorrow with temperatures expected to remain frigid.

Award Confirmation Letter -- New!

We are pleased to announce the launch of the new Award Confirmation Letter, a self-service available to McGill students. Using the Financial Aid and Awards tab in Minerva, you are now able to access and print your official and signed letter in a secure manner.  For a given academic year, the letter contains all awards paid or to be paid. (You may also opt to include need-based bursaries, if applicable.)

Tuition Payment Deferral

Students are expected to pay their tuition by their e-bill due date. Interest on outstanding tuition is charged monthly, however some students may be eligible for a Tuition Fee Deferral.

Who Qualifies

Students in a degree program with no prior outstanding tuition/fees may request that payment(s) of tuition and fees be deferred based on self-reported demonstrated sources of government aid, funding from the university, or external agencies. Graduate students may also qualify if they receive TA or RA employment income from McGill.

Using the accommodation scenarios from the university’s Enrolment Services’ plan, the following addresses institutional aid and awards as well as Quebec government aid.
