McGill offers financial aid in the form of loans (money that needs to eventually be repaid) and bursaries (money that does not need to be repaid) to eligible students who demonstrate financial need. Our assistance is meant to supplement other sources of core funding such as government aid, parental support, part-time work and, in some cases, a student line of credit from the bank.
