A strategic plan was created by the Edith Strauss (ES) Committee with the overall objective of enhancing academic and clinical partnerships to close the gap between research knowledge and its implementation in clinical practice.
This plan includes 5 priority goals:
- To address knowledge needs of health and rehabilitation research users - including patient groups
- To promote and faciliate the translation of research knowledge into clinical practice
- To integrate ongoing ES activities with other related activities in the School and other departments
- To further establish expertise in KT rehabilitation research at the School through ES activities
- ES activities promoting sustainability of KT efforts
