Fouaz Sofiane Ayachi joined the School of Information Studies in 2012 as a postdoctoral researcher with the Multimodal interaction Laboratory (MIL), working on the physical characterization and perception of vibration transmission with Prof. Catherine Guastavino.
Dr. Ayachi received a Diploma in Automatic Control Engineering from the A. B. Belkaid University of Tlemcen, Algeria (2003), and a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Paul Verlaine, Metz, France (2007). He completed his PhD degree in biomechanics and bio-engineering from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), France, in 2011, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at University UPJV-Amiens. His research interests include data mining, human-computer interaction and signal processing.
