Efrat Pauker, Doctoral student in Dr. Steinhauer's lab, received the McGill MedStar Award 2012 in recognition of her excellent research at McGill, including her article on "Effects of cooperating and conflicting prosody in spoken English garden path sentences: ERP evidence for the boundary deletion hypothesis.", published in the influential Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience.
Simon Rigoulot, Post Doctoral fellow in Dr. Pell's lab, received the McGill MedStar Award 2012 in recognition of his excellent research and publication entitled "Seeing Emotion with Your Ears: Emotional Prosody Implicitly Guides Visual Attention to Faces."

Tomlinson PhD Fellowship" (2009-2012) as well as Canada’s most prestigious scholarship for doctoral students, the "Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship" award (2010-2013), for her work on "The neural basis of 'critical period' effects and of first language loss in minority-language speakers dominant in their second language".
