Project title: Physical basis of photo-reduction of carbon dioxide

Project description (50-100 words suggested): This project is related to the study of InGaN nanowires, including their synthesis, structural and electronic properties, and applications in the photo-reduction of carbon dioxide into various hydrocarbons under direct sunlight irradiation.

Prerequisite: 1 term completed at McGill + CGPA of 3.0 or higher; or permission of instructor.

Grading scheme (The final report must be worth at least 50% of final grade): 50% for final report, and 50% for presentations (one in mid-July, and one in mid to late-Aug.)

Project status: This project is taken. The professor has no more '396' projects this term.
