Project title: Study of HIV Integrase

Project description (50-100 words suggested): The candidate will purify HIV integrase using an E. coli expression system.  She will study this enzyme kinetically using appropriate enzymatic assays.  In some cases, drug resistant versions of these proteins will be studied as well.

Prerequisite: 1 term completed at McGill + CGPA of 3.0 or higher; or permission of instructor.

Grading scheme (The final report must be worth at least 50% of final grade): OK
