Project title: Protein Concentration Quantification in Single Cells In Vivo
Project description: My lab has recently developed a technique to determine protein concentrations in single cells in vivo. We are currently validating this technique across many model systems and organisms. This project will consist of validating the technique by quantifying a known phenotype of overexpression of a molecule in specific cell types with quantitation of the molecule's concentration in single cells.
Prerequisite: 1 term completed at McGill + CGPA of 3.0 or higher; or permission of instructor.
Grading scheme (The final report must be worth at least 50% of final grade): The grade shall be based on laboratory performance (50%) and the final written research report (50%).
Project status: This project is taken; however students may contact the professor to discuss other possible '396' projects this term.
