The Redpath Museum's outreach activities include public exhibits, events and Discovery Workshops for families. The Redpath Museum is McGill's centre for teaching and research on the history and diversity of life. It houses and displays large collections of ancient and modern organisms, minerals, and ethnological artefacts.
The McGill University Astrophysics and Cosmology Group offers many outreach activities, including public astro nights, school and highschool activities, podcasts, and (for citizen-scientists) the Dark Skies Photo Project.
The Chemistry Outreach Group works to foster a deeper understanding of chemistry through fun and interactive experiments for students of all ages. Group members include departmental staff, postdocs, graduate students and undergraduate students.
They offer additional outreach programmes, including many public lectures.
McGill is a partner in this national program for elementary and high schools. Graduate students provide in-class presentations about engineering, chemistry, physics, and robotics, and also give lab tours at McGill.
