You are granted transfer credits for coursework satisfactorily completed elsewhere according to the regulations and procedures approved by the Faculty of Science as outlined below.
A. Which institutions are approved by transfer credits:
Transfer credits are accepted from institutions that meet the following criteria:
1. The host university is accredited by a college board or a government ministry.
The Faculty of Science welcomes transfer applications to the B.A. & Sc. and the B.Sc. degrees. The Minerva application will be available as of March 2014 and the deadline to apply for a transfer for Fall 2014 is May 15th. At the time of your application you must have already met the minimum requirements to transfer.
If you are currently registered at McGill in a degree program and wish to transfer for the Fall 2014 term into the B.A. & Sc. or the B.Sc.
Students wishing to make an application to transfer into the Faculty of Science or the B.A. & Sc. program, can apply on Minerva as of March 4, 2014 under the transfer/readmission module on Minerva. The deadline to apply for Fall 2014 is May 15th.
Science students admitted after September, 2009 are limited to choosing majors or honours programs within the Science group to which they were admitted, but may continue to choose freely from all available minor programs.
