VOLUNTEERS WANTED

SOUSA SURPASS* Program
(*SURPASS is an acronym for Science Undergraduate Recruiting and Peer Assistant Support Services)

Application Form

• Provide peer assistance to new students during peak times
AND
• Work as part of a team on one of the following projects during the academic year:

Peer Publications:
Production of the SOUSA
SURPASS Newsletter

Peer Presentations:
Research and prepare presentations for
BA&Sc and BSc students

Requirements:

Be able to commit to 10-15 hours of volunteer work per month from late August through early April (more during peak periods)
Be a full-time B.Sc. or B.A. & Sc. student during the 2015-2016 Academic year
Have a minimum CGPA of 2.7
Be available to attend a minimum of one full-day training session during the week of August 24th – 27th

The application deadline is Thursday, March 19th at 4:00 p.m.
Interviews will be held during the weeks of March 30th and April 6th
