The Leo Yaffe Award for Excellence in Teaching

The Leo Yaffe Award has been given each year since 1982 to “a member of the Faculty of Science for superior teaching at the undergraduate level in the Faculty of Science.” Other academic staff who teach Faculty of Science courses and whose departments confer degrees in the Faculty of Science, are also eligible for the award. The winner will be presented with a scroll and a monetary award at the June Convocation. There should be every expectation that a nominee will be present at Convocation to receive the award.
