Facilities
The rooms are equipped as private, single, study bedrooms, equipped with a small refrigerator. Each room is provided with fresh linen, towels and soap. Daily housekeeping service is not provided. Linen and towel changes are available for a nominal fee. The washrooms are shared amongst the guests and are located a few steps away from each room. The shared washroom areas consist of multiple sinks, multiple private toilets and shower stalls. Note that our rooms are not air-conditioned.
Each residence offers shared laundry facilities, kitchenettes, a lounge, and a TV room. There is no phone service in the rooms but pay phones are conveniently located in each residence building. Computers with free access to the Internet are available to our guests at the front desk of Bishop Mountain Hall as well as in the Study Room at the Royal Victoria College.
Parking is available at both residences for a nominal fee. Weekly passes may be purchased at the Front Desk of your residence. Please note that space is limited.
Most of the university's libraries are open to the public for reading and study. Access to the McGill Athletics' swimming pool, tennis courts and gymnasium on Pine avenue can also be arranged, for an extra charge.
We are always looking for ways to improve our service. We are pleased to announce that all rooms at our Bishop Mountain Hall residence include a $5.00 credit towards the purchase of breakfast in our Dining Hall.Rates

There is a limited number of double rooms equipped with two single beds available at each Residence. Please contact the Reservations Desk directly for these room type inquiries.
Solin Hall
For rates and information, please see Solin Hall summer subletting. Please be advised that Solin Hall does not provide linen or kitchen cookware. Linen available for nominal fee.
Groups are our speciality!
Having so many rooms, large and small groups are easy to accommodate. With easy access to jogging paths and one of the most beautiful views of the city, our student residences are the perfect choice for groups. Rates for meeting, conference and banquet rooms are available upon request.
Meal and catering service
Our food service staff can prepare a wide variety of meals, pack box lunches for mountain-side picnics, arrange barbecues or cater a banquet for 600. We have three superb rooms for weddings, christenings, graduation and other celebrations.
Individual guests
Breakfast is served daily from 7.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. in the Bishop Mountain Hall Dining Hall.
Groups
Complete meal service for groups is also available at the Bishop Mountain Hall complex Dining Hall. It must be arranged prior to the group's arrival. Please contact our Food Service Manager at 514-398-4452 to inquire about the summer meal plan. Please note that the dining hall at the Royal Victoria College is closed during the summer period.
