International Missions

Maintaining and developing relationships with international institutions and governments is an important function of international relations at McGill. As such, the International Relations team plays an important role when members of McGill’s senior leadership travel overseas on behalf of the University. The International Relations team is pleased to:

  • organize meetings and briefings for the Principal’s and Vice-Principal’s missions abroad;
  • coordinate follow-ups from international missions;
  • advise other units at McGill on best practices for overseas missions; and
  • liaise with government departments to coordinate McGill participation in governmental trade and scientific missions
