Competition Dates:
LOI: OSR deadline (approx. May 7, 2015) and Agency deadline (approx. May 21, 2015)
Full Proposal: Fall 2015 (date to be confirmed)
Alison Glaser, Grants and Agreements Officer, will present the FRQSC program "Soutien aux équipes de recherche." The presentation will provide information on the program as well as tips and tools for the application process.
• This opportunity funds infrastructure support for teams that are new (Emerging Teams), already in place (Operating Teams) or who have already held funds as an Operating team (Renewal).
• The Letter of Intent is a mandatory step for all teams wishing to participate in the fall 2015 competition.
• Researchers considering applying to this opportunity as well as administrators who would like to learn more about the above-mentioned program are encouraged to attend.
• Current grantholders that wish to continue their research as of April 1st, 2016 should submit an application to the fall 2015 competition (LOI in May 2015):
o Emerging teams - After being funded for one year, these teams should submit an application as an operating team "Équipe en fonctionnement"
o Operating teams "Équipe en fonctionnement" – Teams who are in their fourth year (2015-2016) should submit an application as "Équipe en renouvellement"
o Renewal "Équipe en renouvellement" - Usually, when a team grant is in its fourth year (2015-2016) the team goes for the competitive renewal
