Dr. Tom Jessell, 2012 Canada Gairdner Laureate from Columbia University, will deliver his lecture entitled "Motor circuits and the sense of place" as part of the 2012 Gairdner National Program. Thomas Jessell is being recognized for his research in defining the genetic and molecular pathways leading to the complex development of the spinal cord. The Gairdner National Program Lecture will take place on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Jeanne Timmins Amphitheatre of the Neuro. A reception will follow.
