Eric Gottesman (U3 mangement) and Jonathan Suss (U2 civil engineering) sell a Remembrance Day poppy to Catherine Pollock (U3 Mining).

Owen Egan

In Flanders fields the poppies blow, and they continue to bloom on McGill campus. Eric Gottesman (U3 Management) and Jonathan Suss (U2 Civil Engineering) sell a Remembrance Day poppy to Catherine Pollock (U3 Mining) from their stand on lower campus. The community is invited to meet at Roddick Gates, November 11 at 10:35 am, to join a McGill procession led by Principal Heather Munroe-Blum to commemorate Remembrance Day. A moment of silence will be observed in the foyer of the Arts Building. There you can also see the University Archives exhibit "McGill Remembers: World War Two" until November 18. Visit their virtual display at www.archives.mcgill.ca/public/hist_scevents.
